What Chris did:

I "cut" it first with the black Cricut marker in the machine, then CAREFULLY exchanged the marker for the blade (do not allow the blade holder arm to move at all) then hit cut again to cut the design. It will cut over the black marker line again leaving a black outline.

I would also suggest running the little pieces of card stock through the Xyron prior to putting them on the cricut mat. They will stay in place better during the cutting process.

Watermelon Frame

Since Christy only has the "baby" bug she designed this frame to be cut twice and then pasted them together to create a frame for a 5x7 picture. The second page is the shadow and the template she used to draw on the seeds. The third page is July and a border.

Sweetborders

I really like this idea I came up with. First, you make a border than you can cut, and then you add detail with the markers. I really think it looks cute. The last picture is already cut, I just haven't taken it out of the paper because of the candle flames :o) I used Doodlecharms for both borders. When making your own, make sure than the only think you set to "cut" for the pens are the details tab I made. BTW, I made it so that you don't have to do both borders at the same time, you can do 1 or the other.

Heart album

I made this book using the software and my little cricut and Doodlecharms. After I cut a half with my 6x12" mat, I then had to cut 1/4" to release the heart from the paper. To cut make a complete heart with pattern paper, you have to put one of the 6x12" sheets upside down if not you will have to exact halfs. It measures 10x11" and I used my bind-it-all to make the holes, and then I made six jump rings and used that to bind it. I don't have any more spirals, so I had to improvise.
